Come, take a peek into our simple but cozy Christmas home!
Less than a week until Christmas! Are you ready? I just love this season, it truly is my most favorite time of the year. In a rare feat of planning gone right, my cookie jar is full, gifts are bought and wrapped, and the kiddo’s winter break starts tomorrow. We plan to go around town to see the Christmas sights and this might be one of my last posts before Christmas. I do have a cake recipe in the works and I hope I can get it drafted and ready to go as soon as possible. I will keep posting Christmas recipes from my archives on my Instagram feed, so make sure you are following me there for last-minute ideas and recipes.
Now, let me show you our Christmas home. Hi there, hummingbird. Isn’t she a darling?!
Blue is the favorite color in our household right now; it’s the one color that all of us seem to agree on. So, breaking away from tradition, I decided to do a blue and white Christmas tree this year.
This is my view as I sit at our dining table and draft my posts. Don’t you just want to curl up on that couch?
How about some chai while you’re here? Have you checked out my Chai Crinkle Cookies recipe yet? It should definitely go on your cookie platter this year. Trust me.
Instead of going all out on the decor and tripping over Christmasy stuff all over the place, I chose a few spots to add Holiday touches. A Holiday lantern and greens on the side table, fresh oranges on the dining table and a joyful vignette on the coffee table adds cheer.
Did you know that we had snow in south central Texas this year? Yes, the real fluffy, white stuff. It was magical! And, I was inspired to make this whimsical Christmas vignette.
Christmas decor at the Happy&Harried household is always fun and kid-friendly. We had so much fun putting together this little scene with paper Christmas trees and Rudolph wall art. Isn’t he cute?!
I think I took way too many pics than I could use. So, here’s some more.
I hope you are having a lovely Holiday season as well and enjoying time with your loved ones. I wish I could spend Christmas back home in India, but such is life.
Merry Christmas to all & a Happy New Year too!!
I’d love to see your Christmas home. I’d also be super thrilled if you tried any of my Christmas Recipes and shared the pics with me. Don’t forget to tag me on socials (@happyandharried) and share your family’s Christmas traditions with me.
