Get your daily dose of vitamins with this colorful, healthy and delicious carrot-strawberry-orange smoothie!
I am not much of a vegetable smoothie person. I love berries, mangoes and all sorts of fruits in my smoothies, but when it comes to vegetables, I start dragging my feet. I never was able to get on the whole green smoothie bandwagon.
But I love carrots and carrot smoothies. They are so sweet naturally and give you all the vitamins you need for a great start to the day or as a sort of pick me up any time you need one.
To make it even better, I tried a quick smoothie with carrots and strawberries blended with fresh orange juice.
The strawberries and oranges, both sweet this time of year, sweeten this smoothie naturally. You can add a touch of honey if you still want to.
This carrot smoothie is great as a quick on-the-go breakfast or midday snack. Especially since it’s getting hotter every day, smoothies and shakes make the best snacks, right? Plus it is just so colorful and pretty!
- Carrots - 4, medium-sized
- Strawberries - 1 cup, chopped
- Oranges - 2, juiced
- Water - 3 cups, cold
- Peel and roughly chop the carrots. Blend along with strawberries and orange juice, adding enough water to make a thick but drinkable consistency. Serve chilled.
2. If you like, your an also add honey to taste. I didn't have to add any as the carrots and fruits were sweet enough.
Drink up to health this summer with this colorful, delicious and healthy smoothie.

I am sharing this over at Fiesta Friday.

How long does this usually last in the fridge?
Anjana @ At The Corner Of Happy And Harried says
Hey Ashley, I’d say this lasts a day in the fridge, at the most two. You are just blending the ingredients not juicing them, so the fiber may settle when stored longer. Also, fresh fruit smoothies are best served fresh to get the maximum benefit. Hope this helps.

Anjana I always know when a drinks photo is yours! 😀 I love your photos so much! This sounds so delicious (I’m sure a handful of kale could be added without too much taste difference! 😛 ) Thanks for sharing at Fiesta Friday 🙂
