Disclosure: “I participated in an In-Home Party Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home. I received product samples to facilitate this post as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”
I am glad to be partnering with Honey Bunches of Oats and Influence Central in introducing you to the Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers. What are they, you ask? Read on and find more.
New Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers provide a semi-homemade option for busy families looking for a wholesome snack or on-the-go breakfast alternative. A bunch of bloggers were tasked with introducing them to friends, both real and virtual, via a bake-at-home party. Our family loves the Honey Bunches of Oats cereals and so when they asked me to sample their new product, I didn’t have to think twice. We love granola too, so it was a win-win for me!
I was happy to learn that the new Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home are made with whole-grain rolled oats, crisp rice and wild-flower honey, each serving provides at least 11 grams of whole grain. They come in three delicious varieties; Honey Oat, Chocolate Chip and Cranberry Vanilla, with real chocolate chips and dried cranberries as the names suggest.
Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers can be dressed up further and the options are only limited by your imagination – think peanut butter, melted chocolate, marshmallows, toasted coconut, dried fruits, nuts, berries and so on. This versatility makes them the perfect breakfast/snack option. They sent me this cute recipe inspiration sign-card as well!
Last month, I received this huge package that contained the three varieties of Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home and lots of other goodies for the in-home party. There were muffin pans, aprons, chef hats and oven mitts for the guests and a bunch of other cute stuff.
I was just itching to get started with the party already and had so much fun putting my own special touches to the decor. (Psst… these lanterns might or might not still be up in our dining room!)
Each Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home granola mix kit has a dry ingredients packet and a honey pouch. You simply mix them all up with a little bit of melted butter (regular or nut butter) and some brown sugar. From mix to oven in five minutes, new Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home is as easy as 1, 2, 3 – just prep, mix and bake!
In just ten minutes, they come out golden, crunchy and absolutely delicious-smelling. They bake in a muffin pan, so you don’t have to worry about cutting out individual-sized bars. Just make sure to thoroughly grease the muffin pans and press down firmly on the granola mix before and after baking to firm them up. They are really easy, so believe me when I say, even a 5-year old can do it.
Each round granola ‘cookie’ is the perfect size for big and small hands. Look at my little sous chef/taste tester helping himself to the first batch!
I gathered a bunch of friends and their kids to bake and try these out and boy, did we have a blast! My friends loved how easy it was to simply mix and bake. All three varieties were a huge hit, but I think we were ever-so-slightly partial to the chocolate chip granola. After all, it has real chocolate chips in it and who can resist them? I also substituted regular butter with peanut butter for this variety and it made for an awesome flavor combo!
It was a late afternoon party, so I decided to lay out a few other goodies as well. A batch of my fresh orange muffins, some delicious homemade grapefruitade and spicy tortilla chips sealed the deal.
We had very little leftovers after the guests were sent on their way with their goodie bags, but I did manage to come up with a fun recipe the next day. Who doesn’t love a quick breakfast dish? And when you top low-fat Greek yogurt, fruit compote and fresh berries with some crushed granola, it becomes the easiest and healthiest breakfast parfait in history.
The Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers are a lifesaver when you have a hungry 5-year old (or 50-year old) who loves variety when it comes to snacks and is a great on-the-go breakfast option for busy moms and dads. Play around with the flavors and add-ins, try new recipes and let me know how it goes!

Looks like you had a great party. I agree with Julie concerning the sugar content. I just switched to using plain nonfat yogurt and mixing it with fresh fruit. I do love granola snacks/bars as they are a quick burst of energy. Thanks for sharing with all of the party goers at Fiesta Friday 🙂

Your little sous chef is just adorable! What did the sugar content look like on these Anjana? I just love granola but it is so hard to buy because it often has not great for you nutrition.
Anjana @ At The Corner Of Happy & Harried says
Thank you, Julie. He is a charmer!
The sugar content is 8g per serving, though you could cut down on it if you do not add extra brown sugar and use only the honey provided. I don’t think the omission will be noticeable to adult palates.
Julie is HostessAtHeart says
That isn’t as bad as some that read 12g or higher. Thanks Anjana!
