Let me show you a few of my little treasures, gathered from here and there and everywhere! It is a random collection of items in my home that I love and enjoy!
Wildflowers in a vase. I just love yellow blooms!
And white ones too. Delicate crepe myrtle blossoms gathered from under a tree in our complex early one morning.
Love the little wood truck that Boy painted.
A cute little porcelain sugar bowl I found at Bussey’s, a flea market near San Antonio. She was in perfect condition and had the most delicate design. And yes, it is definitely a she! Another great score from Bussey’s was a set of porcelain dessert plates and cups. They have golden stars on them, perfect for Christmas! Or anytime I feel like celebrating!
I love elephants. So when I saw this cute little guy, I couldn’t resist! He has the cutest expression and the prettiest pink ears!
I have shown you some of Boy’s paintings before. It is impossible to pick a favorite, but if I absolutely had to, here it is.
I drew him a car and a tree. He covered the whole paper with such vibrant and happy colors! Reminds me a little of these Van Gogh paintings.
Okay, maybe not. But what can I say? I am a super proud mom!!!
So there you have it. A hodge-podge of things that I love!
Surround yourself with pretty little things. Some useful, some old, some new, some gathered, and some that is handmade. And you will smile a little, every time you see them!

Such a sweet post! Love the crepe myrtle blossoms in the bowl! What a great idea. Cherish that artwork! My baby is 36 and now paints in oils!
Have a beautiful weekend.

Thank you! I don’t have the heart to throw out any of his work… I am thinking of framing some of them when we get our own place.
