This is a delicious, super-easy peanut butter cookie recipe that even kids can help make. I used chunky peanut butter because that’s what I like, but feel free to use the creamy version, if that’s what you prefer.
You will need:
- Peanut butter – 1 cup
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Egg – 1, large
- Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
How to:
- Pre-heat the oven to 350 deg.F and line two baking sheets/pans with foil.
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
- Place roughly shaped cookies one inch apart on the baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until brown at the edges, rotating the pans once halfway. (I bake my PB cookies for at least 12 minutes, because I love a nicely browned cookie bottom!)
- The cookie centers will be soft fresh from the oven. Cool them in the pan for 10 minutes. Remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
- Store in an airtight container.
These are so easy to make, you can enjoy delicious peanut butter cookies any time. They are a wonderful treat for kids. And they make the house smell so good!!
Enjoy your cookies with a tall glass of milk. I bet you can’t eat just one!
