I love book page wreaths. They are elegant, romantic and quirky, at the same time! I have seen a lot of variations in blog-land.
These are a few I have made. Since they are from my pre-blogging days, there are no step by step how-to pictures. I will try my best to explain them.
1). Book Page Cone Wreath
This is one of the most common book page wreaths I’ve come across. There are so many variations of this (just try googling it!) and I have seen it on multiple craft blogs, I have no clue where I first drew inspiration from!
You can make this two ways. Like a traditional wreath, with a hole in the middle or more like a flower using a small circular piece of cardboard as the base.
I used a small circle cut out from a cereal box as the base. I made a lot of paper cones. I tried making different cone shapes till I was satisfied, and then made a bunch of them. I stuck them onto the base in two layers. A word of advice here. Lay the cones around the circle before sticking them on. Else you’ll end up with a skewed wreath. To do this properly, place the first layer of cones towards the outer edge of the circle at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock angles. Fill in the four sections uniformly with more cones. Repeat for the second layer. If you use a larger circle base, you can add a third layer.
I added an accordion paper flower to the middle and I was done! During Christmas, I place small ornament balls in the paper cones and it looks so festive!
2). Book Page Accordion Flower Wreath
I drew inspiration from Design, Dining and Diapers’ wreath. She has a detailed tutorial.
It looks so different and cool. It may be my favorite so far!
3). Yarn and Book Page Leaves Wreath
After book page wreaths, yarn wrapped ones seem to be the most popular. I wanted to make a yarn wrapped wreath and embellish it with some paper flowers. That is what I started out to do anyway!
I reused a flat cardboard piece to make the wreath base. I started wrapping the yarn and soon grew bored. The flat wreath look was not working for me too. Then I had one of my light bulb moments (anybody else love Gru?!!) and made some book page leaves for the rest of the wreath. I embellished it with a crocheted flower. The flower started as a wonky granny square pattern which I twisted to resemble a flower, and fixed it on the wreath. It sort of just came together! I love when that happens, don’t you?
I love how it turned out, but I wish I had folded the paper leaves in half, to add some dimension.
4). Multicolored Spring Paper Wreath
A colorful take on the book page leaves wreath. I used thicker craft paper instead. I have blogged about it here.
I think I may have an obsession with paper crafts!
Do you have any favorite wreaths? Have you made any?

Hi Anjana What a musical name, very pretty. You have a wonderful smile also.
I truly loved all your wreaths on this post but my very favorite is the spring colorful leaves just cause I love alot of color.
I’ve tried to make the swirly flowers but every time they come out looking pretty messed up, lol. My hands just don’t want to work that way, but then they don’t want to work any way some of the time. You do such a great job making all the pieces for these wreaths. The cones you make are so nice. Great job showing us how, they’re all terrific. Happy Weekend

Your wreaths are great! I imagine since they are paper, you can’t display them outside? I love all kinds of crafts using book pages. Thanks for sharing! (Linked up from Somewhat Simple)

Thanks for visiting. Glad you liked them. They would not withstand the elements, so they have to stay indoors. I hung them up on our dining room wall as a grouping of wreaths.
